In order to teach guided assistance, I created a scene so learners can watch best practice when offering assistance to someone with a visual impairment.

I chose to create a main menu so that learners can choose which section to start with and monitor their progress. This also makes it easier for learners to review specific sections.

Assessment

In order to assess learners on their growth, I created a self-reflective Likert survey to evaluate how learners’ perceived understanding. To maintain consistency, I used the same statements for both the pre-assessment and the post-assessment.

In addition to pre- and post-assessments, I also wanted learners to have a way to check their progress. At the end of each of the three modules, there are multiple choice questions to check for understanding.
