Studies
These sketchbook paintings are studies of light and color based on places I’ve visited. I typically spend a couple of hours digging into each one. All of these studies were made with acryla gouache and polychromos colored pencils.
Process
These three 4”x6” paintings were a gift for a family member. Because I wanted them to go together as a set, I painted them simultaneously.
I completed these in roughly 11 hours and painted them using acryla gouache and polychromos colored pencils.
A gift for a friend after a big move, this 8”x10” painting commemorated his former house.
