Teacher Professional Development

Supporting teachers is extremely important to me as a former classroom teacher. During teacher professional development, my aim is to facilitate content that teachers can adapt and apply to their classrooms.

High School Workshops

High school workshops typically begin with an hour-long docent-guided tour and culminate in a related studio activity.

Inspired by Murillo: Student Showcase

In celebration of the Kimbell Art Museum’s 50th anniversary, Kimbell staff partnered with Fort Worth ISD and Imagination Fort Worth to present an exhibition of paintings created by high school students during workshops at the Kimbell in conjunction with the special exhibition Murillo: From Heaven to Earth. During FWISD students museum visit they participated in docent-guided tours, sketched in the galleries, and painted the people and places that make up their local communities. This student exhibition was held January 6–29, 2023 and sponsored by Texas Commission on the Arts.

Events for University Students

I plan and facilitate university evenings for college students and professors to enjoy special exhibitions, participate in trivia, and create artworks inspired by works in the galleries.
